I’ve been working on a message board this past week that will be up and functional by the end of this coming week. As soon as I’ve launched the board, stop by and check it out. I’ve begun work on the new song cycle for the 2008 Staunton Music Festival. The seven songs will be on poetry by Mark Statman, who I met at the VCCA last March. I’m really excited to work with Mark’s poems. I hope to have the cycle finished by the end of June.
The songs will be premiered by soprano Julia Klumpp on Tues., Aug 19.
